Jim Rhodes

Jim is a registered SOCAN songwriter, and performs a local solo show in addition to playing in various local bands. Jim has played with many Vancouver bands for years such as “LC & the TOGS”; “The Lemmings”; “The Undeliverables”; “45 Spacer”; The Great Western Slopes”; “The Georgia Straits” The Jon Bos Band and country rock band “Rock N Rodeo”. With new band “The Dodgy Bits” Jim and the band have been playing pubs, bars, parties and anywhere people are looking for good music and good times.

Jim’s solo show is a fun mix of intimate acoustic versions of favourite songs, and if needed beefs up the show on electric guitar with pro backing tracks that gets the dance floor hoping. Playing everything from America, Avicci, Beatles, Black Crowes, Calvin Harris, Coldplay, Drake, Eagles, Ed Sheeran, Green Day, Jason Mraz, Jimmy Buffet, John Mayer, Kenny Chesney, Mumford & Sons, Pink Floyd, Oasis, Tom Petty, Tragically Hip, Zac Brown Band and so much more.
