The story of “Mulan” is a classic Chinese story known around the world. “Mulan – The Musical” is the first musical theatre performance directed and performed by Beijing Red Poppy using percussion as the main instrument. The piece has been acclaimed by audiences world wide since its creation in 2013. Since then, “Mulan – The Musical” has been performed over 200 times around the world. “Mulan” combines the Chinese cultural values of love, justice, loyalty and filial duty into on epic story.
