Canadian alternative rockers Theory of a Deadman will be bringing their string of hits to Hard Rock Casino Vancouver on Thursday, July 30, 2015.

Formed in North Delta, Theory of a Deadman made a name for themselves after becoming the first band to sign with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records in 2001. The following year, they released their debut eponymous album which featured the hit single, “Make Up Your Mind”. Their next album, Gasoline was released in 2005 and spawned the chart-topping single, “No Surprise” which peaked at #1 in Canada and reached #8 in
the US.

The group returned to the studio two years later to record their third album, Scars and Souvenirs which was released in 2008. The album – which produced the hit singles, “So Happy”, “Bad Girlfriend”, “Hate My Life”, “Not Meant to Be” and “All or Nothing” – reached #2 on the Canadian Albums Chart while in the US, it hit #1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums Chart. It went on to be certified Platinum in both Canada and the US.

Their 2011 album, The Truth Is… debuted at #1 on the Canadian Albums Chart with its lead single, “Lowlife” hitting #1 on Billboard’s Rock Albums Chart. The album also reached #1 on both Billboard’s Alternative Albums Chart and Hard Rock Albums Chart. Last year, they released their fifth album, Savages which reached #4 on the Canadian Albums Chart and #1 on both Billboard’s Alternative Albums Chart and Hard Rock Albums Chart.

Just last month, they released Angel, a five-track acoustic EP which features alternative takes of four of their
songs and a cover of Swedish singer Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High)”. The band’s line-up consists of frontman Tyler Connolly, guitarist Dave Brenner, bassist Dean Back and drummer Joey Dandeneau.
