Responsible Gambling

We want to be sure that our guests think of gambling as a fun and safe entertainment option. We do however; recognize that some might find it difficult to cope with their gambling habits and might require additional assistance.

To provide the appropriate support, Great Canadian Gaming Corporation in partnership with provincial gaming regulators, offers the following responsible gambling programs and initiatives at its gaming properties:

• Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program

• Employee Training

• Responsible Gambling Information Centres and Advisors

• Responsible Gambling Literature

• Problem Gambling Help Line

• No Minors Policy

• Responsible Gambling Marketing Standards

Some of the Great Canadian sites have taken part in the RG Check program. RG Check is an accreditation program created by the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) of Ontario and is based on the RGC’s Responsible Gambling Index (standards).

The standards are designed to provide objective and independent benchmarks for the content, quality, and breadth of ‘responsible gambling’ programs designed and delivered by gaming companies. They represent the RGC’s view of significant efforts by gaming providers to reduce the risk of problem gambling among patrons.
